Project Summary

Nyota Zetu came as a result of NOW US! AWARD where NONDO pitched   award winning idea of 2021. The  award idea resulted to initiating Nyota zetu (Our Dreams) project which targets to capacity build and showcase the abilities of Persons with Disabilities women from the nomadic and pastoralists communities towards transformative leadership development and linking them to different spaces for inclusion. The 18 months’ project is at its inception point.

Capacity Building of 40 women with disabilities transformational leadership, kenya’s governance structure, and inclusion in political parties.

Using documentaries, media interactions, and storytelling to demonstrate the skills and potential of women with disabilities.
