Education

Education provides individuals with a comparative advantage and helps eliminate social disparities. SDG 4 aims to ensure inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, including vulnerable populations such as persons with disabilities and indigenous peoples. Empirical evidence demonstrates the value of education for persons with disabilities, as seen in the lives of influential individuals such as Stephen Hawking, Dr. Oki Ooko Ombaka, Harun Maalim Hassan, Hon Josephine Sinyo, and Hon Dennitah Ghati. Education has catalyzed their growth and expedited them into places of influence, where their contributions have made a significant impact.

NONDO commits to negotiate accessible, quality, affordable education for Persons with Disabilities    in the ASAL areas with the hope that this education will pull them out of the cycle of poverty and marginalization.
